Robert Cyglicki

Robert joined CEE Bankwatch Network as Polish national coordinator in 2001. In 2004 he became international coordinator of Bankwatch's European Investment Bank reform campaign. His professional experience includes being a journalist in a weekly newspaper, and coordinating an environmental and civil society rights information centre established by Green Federation Gaja c/o Polish Green Network. He has been a member of the advisory committee for the Polish Minister of Infrastructure on Cohesion Fund since 2003 and in 2004 was appointed as the NGO representative in the Steering Committee for Sectoral Operational Plan - Transport.

Robert received an MA degree in Sociology at the Univeristy of Szczecin ( Poland ) with a thesis on civil right to information guaranteed under the Aarhus Convention. He has passed several trainings and courses including on environmental impact assessments, public participation and access to information, NGO management and financial issues. Robert is an expert in issues related to conflicts between Natura 2000 sites and road infrastructure developments, as well as public participation in decision making processes.
