Olexi Pasyuk

Olexi joined CEE Bankwatch Network in 2000 as International Energy coordinator, working with decision makers, the international NGO community and the media. He coordinated nuclear energy related activities within the network.
Since 2004 Olexi has been responsible for Bankwatch's work in the Central Asia region. He assists local groups in their work with the IFIs, campaigns and runs advocacy work.
Olexi started his environmental activities in 1992 with Greenpeace Ukraine. He has been involved in various projects in NIS (Tacis etc.) on energy and environmental issues. In addition, he has carried out scientific research and lecturing on EIA at National University " Kyiv-Mohyla Academy ".
Olexi received his MA at the European Postgraduate Course on Environmental Management run by the University of Amsterdam; this followed his Master of Science degree in Analytical Chemistry from Kiev state university.
