Manana Kochladze

Manana joined CEE Bankwatch Network in 1998 as National Coordinator for Georgia and since 2002 she has been working as Regional Coordinator for the Caucasus. She is the founder of the Tbilisi-based environmental group Green Alternative where as well as being the group's chairwoman she works as IFIs program coordinator.
In 2004 Manana was honoured with a coveted Goldman Environmental Prize in recognition of her campaigning work on the controversial Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan campaign.
Manana is the author of several reports and other publications focusing on environmental problems. She graduated in 1994 with an MSc degree in Biology from Tbilisi State University.
