Linas joined CEE Bankwatch Network in 1995 as National Co-ordinator in Lithuania. His work experience includes engineering at the Research department of Kaunas Regional Agency of Environmental Protection Department, Deputy Member of Kaunas City Council and working for environmental NGOs as campaigner and project coordinator.
Linas holds the position of Board member in Atgaja Community as well as being a member of CEE Bankwatch Network's Executive Committee. In addition, he is a member of the National Steering Committee of UNDP GEF Small Grant Programme.
Linas has passed through the following trainings and additional qualification courses: International Financial Institutions; energy and environment; transport and environment; NGO development and management; air pollution; energy efficiency and saving; development of renewable energy; public participation and access to information.
Linas is married and has two children.
