Ivo studied at the Technical University in Sofia. In 2003 he started working at the Environmental Association Za Zemiata. Within Bankwatch he works as the Bulgarian National Co-ordinator. He focuses on the monitoring of Bulgarian projects financed by the IFIs:the EIB, the EBRD, and the EU pre-accession funds. He also focuses on waste issues and Persistent Organic Pollutants.
