Andrzej Gula

Andrzej joined the Bankwatch team in 2000. His work focuses on monitoring EU financial assistance to Poland – on a project to project basis as well as by influencing the shape of the documents that programme the direction of EU support for Poland . Andrzej acts as a representative of Polish environmental NGOs in the Steering Committee for the environmental part of the Cohesion Fund in Poland . His main fields of interest are: financial and economic assessment of environmental infrastructure projects, cost-benefit analysis of public investments (including environmental valuation), and sustainable waste management schemes.
Andrzej holds an MA degree in environmental economics from the Economic Academy of Krakow. He is also the President of the Institute for Environmental Economics, a full member of CEE Bankwatch Network.
