Polish Green Network (PGN)
Polish Green Network (PGN) is a nationwide network of organisations working to support environmental initiatives. The network consists of regional centres which are located in major Polish cities. These co-ordinate projects and campaigns and establish contacts with national and international authorities. There are currently eight such centres in Warsaw, Lódz, Szczecin, Torun, Bialystok, Poznan, Lublin and Wroclaw . Green Federation Gaja is the one based in Szczecin which provides assistance to Bankwatch Polish Coordinatior.
The Polish Green Network's mission is to promote sustainable development through partnership, cooperation and participation. PGN is working on public support for sustainable development, enhancement of citizens participation in decision-making processes concerning environment, initiating pro-environmental activity at individual level and strengthening environmental non-governmental organizations.
